Workouts to Do at Home

Everyone always wonders, how can I work out if I don’t have any weights? Well, there are tons of exercises to do that don’t involve any weights. They involve your body weight. You can get a great workout, from doing them! Also you will see results! Here are some examples of workouts to do at your house.

1. Planks: This exercise is almost like a push-up, except you stay on your forearms. For this exercise tighten your abs, when you are holding yourself up. For this exercise do 4 sets of 30 seconds. Once you start getting better at this exercise increase the time, and decrease the sets.

2. Pushups: For this exercise do 5 sets of 10. Once you start getting stronger, increase the number of reps that you do.

3. Jack knives: For this exercise you lay flat on your back with your arms extended, and legs straight. Then bring your legs and your arms up, while keeping your hips on the ground. This is one of the best abs workouts that you can do. For this exercise do 3 sets 15. As you get better increase your reps.

4. Crunches: For this exercise, lie on your back, bend your knees, and tuck your head toward your knees. For this exercise, use a slow controlled motion. Do 4 sets of 25. As you get better increase your reps.

5. Squat to Calf Raise: For this exercise you will start with a regular squat. Which is feet shoulder width apart, next you will squat until you butt is below your knees, while keeping your head up. After you do a squat you will then raise your heels, until you are on your tiptoes, then slowly lower back to your squat position, and repeat. For this exercise do 2 sets of 25, and for your last set do as many as possible.
