Power In Prayer Club

Power In Prayer is a club where people can come together and meet other individuals of like Faith. They can share prayer requests or burdens and get some encouraging words for the day ahead. The club meets Monday through Friday in the auditorium starting at 8:05 and going to 8:10. Everyone is welcome to come and share in this time of faith and fellowship.

The FCA (Fellowship of Christian Athletes) club meets on club days, which are every other month, in the library. The vision of FCA is to see the world impacted for Jesus Christ through the influence of athletes and coaches. The FCA conducts its meetings through “campus huddles", which are student-led meetings with the purpose of discipleship, outreach, and fellowship using the platform of athletics. The huddles and club are open to all students. Often there are guest speakers, from various schools and colleges, who come and share a message when the club meets. There are opportunities to learn about FCA camps and various events that go on throughout the school year.

The FCA is working out the details for weekly huddle meetings. The dates and times will be announced in the near future.

French Club

The French Club meets once every two months, and offers the opportunity for students to learn about France and the language.  The club is lead by Ms. Dana Snyder, the French teacher here at Rural Retreat High School. The students get to eat authentic food and do interactive projects that involve France and other countries. If you are a person wanting to learn the ways of foreign countries, this is the club for you!
