RR Wrestlers Compete in Carroll County Open Tournament

Three Rural Retreat wrestlers competed in the Carroll County Wrestling Tournament last Saturday (October 5). The wrestlers who competed in the high school division were Trey Boyd and Jacob Wynn. The only middle school wrestler who competed was Josh Wynn. Both Josh Wynn and Jacob Wynn medaled in this tournament, each earning 2nd place. Josh Wynn went 2-1 in this tournament, while his brother Jacob Wynn went 3-1, before suffering a 5-4 loss in the finals. Trey Boyd went 1-2 in this tournament.

All Rural Retreat wrestlers will continue to get better this off-season, and continue to work towards winning a team state championship.
