With a rapper as a dad, some may think he would follow in those footsteps. Well if you think that, you’re ten shades of wrong. Snoop Dogg’s son, Cordell Broadus, is a junior wide receiver at Diamond Bar High School in California, according to The Chicago Tribune. In a highlight reel of his own, Broadus catches jump balls as well as runs after the catch on short throws. If he isn’t terrorizing opposing secondaries, he’s horrifying opposing QBs. Being relatively small for a defensive end, standing at 6’3” and weighing in at 186, his scholarship offers from Louisiana State University, the University of Nebraska, University of Southern California, and University of Notre Dame, among others, are to play wide receiver. In only his sophomore year, Broadus finished the season with 38 receptions for 513 yards and seven touchdowns. Will we see Snoop Lion’s son in a Detroit Lions’ jersey one day soon?
