VHSL indoor track 1A/2A State Championships were held at Liberty University on Wednesday, March 4th, which was a major success for Rural Retreat. Senior Dylan Crigger, who placed 7th in the state, undertook the Triple Jump and received a personal record of 38'8. Freshman Colin Crigger competed in the 500 meter dash (a whole lap and a straight stretch) and received a final time of 1:15:03. Class of 2014 Alum Matthew Farmer still holds the state record of 4:23.83 in the 1600m.
