Rock and Roll Hall of Fame Inducts New Members

Just days ago, reports Yahoo Musicthe Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inducted new nominees in their annual ceremony. Nirvana, Kiss, Peter Gabriel, Cat Stevens, Linda Ronstadt, and Hall and Oates were recently inducted, emotional speeches and all.
During the RRHOF Induction, Kiss decided beforehand not to perform, disappointing many in the KISS Army. However, what took the show was Nirvana’s reuniting, after the group disbanded 20 years ago after frontman Kurt Cobain’s suicide.

The grunge band had a few female singers fill in for live performances. One example is female rock icon Joan Jett, who sang on "Smells Like Teen Spirit." After the signature song, then Sonic Youth leader Kim Gordon sang. Closing the Nirvana performance was, surprisingly, pop singer Lorde.
